Years in the making, Sarah J. Maas's #1 New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series draws to an epic, unforgettable conclusion. Aelin Galathynius's journey from slave to king's assassin to the queen of a once-great kingdom reaches its heart-rending finale as war erupts across her world. . .

Aelin has risked everything to save her people-but at a tremendous cost. Locked within an iron coffin by the Queen of the Fae, Aelin must draw upon her fiery will as she endures months of torture. Aware that yielding to Maeve will doom those she loves keeps her from breaking, though her resolve begins to unravel with each passing day…

With Aelin captured, Aedion and Lysandra remain the last line of defense to protect Terrasen from utter destruction. Yet they soon realize that the many allies they've gathered to battle Erawan's hordes might not be enough to save them. Scattered across the continent and racing against time, Chaol, Manon, and Dorian are forced to forge their own paths to meet their fates. Hanging in the balance is any hope of salvation-and a better world.

And across the sea, his companions unwavering beside him, Rowan hunts to find his captured wife and queen-before she is lost to him forever.

As the threads of fate weave together at last, all must fight, if they are to have a chance at a future. Some bonds will grow even deeper, while others will be severed forever in the explosive final chapter of the Throne of Glass series.

I am the one who now has a headache from all this crying. Never has a series gripped my heart so forcefully. I am so sad to have come to the end. This tale has been so very beautiful, loving, and heartbreaking. These characters are forever a part of my heart. Thank you, for giving us this story of hope.
  • Heartfelt, Stunning, Courageous

I absolutely loved this last book. I have cried in other books, however, I don’t think I have cried as mush as I did with this last book. Kingdom of Ash is exceptionally exciting, emotionally fraught, passionately thoughtful from page one to the last. I am a fast reader and I genuinely felt at times frustrated that I couldn’t read faster. I also sat back reflected and digested what I had just read. I love each of the characters and their individual stories and journeys. I loved the times I busted out laughing with joy or surprise and I love the times I was crying for joy. The heartfelt sorrow that I cried was cleansing and I will be forever changed by not only this last book in the series but from each of the subsequent books read. Obviously, I’m being careful with my words here because I do not want to accidentally divulge a spoiler. Anyone that has not read Kingdom of Ash yet will not believe how much emotion and depth Sarah J. Maas has poured into these pages. I look forward to whatever works Sarah takes on next. If your new to reading her books get started NOW you will be pulled into worlds that will fill you with the things readers look for. Her books will have an impact in your own journey through life. Sarah you truly are an exceptionally gifted author.

This wrapped up everything and gave me the ending I so completely hoped for. I laughed, I cried (a lot) and I loved. This is hands down my all time favorite fantasy series alone side The Dark Hunters. Thank you Sarah J Maas. Thank you so much.

There are times in life that you read something that truly resonates with your core. To me this series did that. From the first chapter of “Assassin’s Blade” to the last page of “Kingdom of Ash” I have felt part of the story. None of the books disappoint what so ever. This is an absolute must-read!!! I am eternally grateful to Sarah J.M. for sharing her dreams and fantasies with the rest of the world.

SO GOOD. I read this sitting next to my fiancé, and there were times he was just staring at me because I was crying so much. All the tears. The good and the bad. I had to stop reading every now and then just to digest it all.
  • Perfect

I’ve read many books in my life span and have been disappointed with the outcome several times. But this book... I could read it again and again (and probably will) because everyone in the book received what they set out to do. Their mission was complete and their stories unfolded beautifully. Overall, this whole series was worth the time and tears spent. I can’t wait for any other book Sarah J. Mass will have next!
  • A world of hope!!!

I am so so so sad this series has ended. It’s been a wonderful world to be apart of and she does a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. You will want to laugh out loud, cry out loud, grind your teeth, and cheer out loud. I love the brilliance I’m making up this world of Fae, magic, worlds on top of worlds, Magic and Power. Please please continue the series A Court of Thorns and Roses, thats actually the series I fell in lovvvvvvee with first, and read this series after.
